Cotton double gauze is suitable for many dressmaking projects such as dresses, tops and skirts; as well as being suitable for many crafts, curtains and bedding. It is very popular for making blankets, muslin cloths, bedding and clothes for babies and small children.

Available by the half metre. We cut your fabric to order, so if you would like 1 m, order 2 and so on. Your fabric will come as one continuous piece.

Composition – 100% Cotton

Remember to ALWAYS WASH your fabric before sewing, as fabric can shrink on first wash. We recommend washing at a low temperature e.g. 30. Also, you may need to order slightly extra of your fabric due to this shrinkage. Please note that cotton double gauze can shrink more than most fabrics (up to about 8% in my experience).
