A gorgeous, semi-sheer fabric that makes a lovely alternative to net curtains where you wish to maximise the natural light into a room but limit visibility from outside. Our Lara Voile is a cotton colour with a distinctive, lose weave that gives it a wonderfully tactile texture and uniform appearance yet is weighty enough to create a beautiful drape. Voile comes from the French term for veil. It is a soft, sheer fabric, usually made of 99% cotton or cotton blended with linen or polyester. Because of its light weight, the fabric is mostly used to make sheer curtains and lampshades.
