A polyester crepe-backed satin Liberty from the Belize range – Mitsi in white, yellow and green on a blue base. Mitsi was designed by Gillian Farr, a member of the Liberty Fabrics studio in the 1950s. It pays homage to Libertys historical love for Japanese design motifs, featuring delicate cherry blossom. The lightweight fabric has been woven in a satin-backed crepe structure, where the face of the fabric has a crepe texture and the reverse has a smooth finish with an elegant lustre. A beautifully fluid, opaque fabric with great drape, and no stretch. Ideal for blouses like the Sequence, dresses like the Maya, skirts, and special occasion pieces.
